On May 26, 2024, Ăn Chay TV proudly accompanied and participated in the international seminar with the theme “Community Tourism and Tourism Models Linked with Education in Malaysia.” The event was organized by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City, in collaboration with the Center for Vietnam and Southeast Asian Studies, the Vietnam-Southeast Asia Friendship Association in Ho Chi Minh City, the Consulate General of Malaysia in Ho Chi Minh City, the Malaysia Tourism Promotion Board, the Malaysian Education Office, and the Malaysian Community Tourism Entrepreneurs Association.

The seminar was attended by distinguished delegates and guests from Malaysia:

Mr. Amree Hanan Abd Halim – Deputy Tourism Consul

The seminar aimed to promote Malaysian culture and tourism, as well as share knowledge on the development of community tourism models and tourism combined with education. At the seminar, Thao Le, the founder of Ăn Chay TV, gave a presentation on the potential for developing vegan tourism models between Vietnam and Malaysia. The topic garnered significant interest from students and guests.

After the presentations, guests and students participated in traditional Malaysian cultural activities such as batik painting and Arabic calligraphy writing with themes about Saigon – Ho Chi Minh City. These activities not only helped attendees understand more about Malaysian culture but also created a fun and beneficial exchange space.
